1995 The project starts! SA are introduced to the concept of dressing casually on the first Friday of September. We raised R413 000 as a start. |

1996 A dramatic increase in the number of people participating with funds increasing to R1,2 million. |

1997 The project grew in popularity and stature. Our mascot ‘Able’ was born and helped the project walk home with R2,1 million. |

1998 We pulled out all the stops and received great support from SA. |

1999 Although Able looked relaxed, he encouraged the country to join Casual Day. The R4,8 million raised was a new record! |

2000 Able went roller-skating for a good cause. He rolled in with R5,5 million and astonished us all. |

2001 For the first time in history, the income of the project hit a rocky spot on the road and we raised R5,2 million. |

2002 A vigorous campaign sees exceptional growth once again. Able got carried away and lifted the project to record heights of R5,8 million. |

2003 We introduced a fabulous theme 'be a sport' on Casual Day. We raised |

2004 It was a year of great excitement as we celebrated 10 years of service. We increased the sticker price to R10 and raised R8,3 million! |

2005 A reminder to wear your heart on your sleeve. While being in the theme of LOVE, we raised R10,1 million. |

2006 "Superheroes" was our theme and we asked you to be a hero to somebody with a disability. More than 1,2 million people unleashed the power of donating R10 and we raised R12 million!! |

2007 Be a star and shine your light in the life of someone with a disability. |

2008 South Africa "Woke Up" for the needs around them and helped us to raise R15.6 million! |
