Get involved

We hereby invite you to join South Africa’s favourite fundraising event…and have a lot of fun.
When you get dressed for work on Friday 4 September, try something different. Don't wear what you
usually wear… dress up or down; wear your evening suit or pyjamas or your swimsuit and tiara.
Wear anything you please, but remember to wear the official Casual Day sticker to show
you dare to care for persons with disabilities.

Why should you participate?
How do you get a sticker?
  • Casual Day is South Africa's favourite fundraising project for persons with disabilities.
  • It's great to support a project where you know your contribution reaches the people it's intended to assist.
  • It's fun, easy and worthwhile supporting.

What does it cost?

A mere R10 - less than what 2 cups of coffee will cost you.

What to do next?

Why not become a contact person for us in your company? Organising Casual Day is as easy as this:

  • Secure permission from your management to participate at your workplace.
  • Put up posters and tent cards, distribute newsletters to your colleagues and sell as many stickers as you can prior to Casual Day. Check out all the FREE promotional material that is available for you to use to gain the support of your colleagues.
  • Advertise Casual Day in your company newsletter and via your intranet. Ready made ads available from our office.
  • On Casual Day, make sure that every participant wears their sticker.
  • Only employees who purchased a sticker have earned the right to dress up or down!
  • Be sure everyone knows how your workplace defines acceptable attire for an event like this.
  • Take pictures and let us see them.
